Colin Pritchard

Colin Pritchard who is a research professor at Bournemouth University and a successful international researcher  in child protection and mental health was awarded a Literature Award  for his work King David: War & Ecstasy. The book follows David of 'Goliath fame' and though it is based upon research, Prof Pritchard describes it as "a fictional biography of one of our culture's great icons."

The subject matter of King David is well known but, the way in which Colin depicts the series of events and transcribes them makes the book both believable and real and there is indeed a big need for many historical figures to be transformed into present time in order to identify and connect with them. Gabi Lummas

Gabi Lummas, an outstanding woman with great strength of character has written her autobiography expressing her psychological trauma in her early years which is moving and in many ways make shocking reading. She recounts her unstable domestic background, experiences with counselors, fury with physicians and years of just not knowing or even remembering.
