1.  World Writers Association (WWA) was established in 1952 and again resurrected in 2001.  The association was resurrected in response to the number of dissolving associations and literacy institutions and is focused on developing and integrating a stronger writing community.

2. WWA is a literary association where members must fulfill the minimum requirements of either published a book or, written a manuscript where an expert opinion has been delivered. Members are accepted from all countries and all languages. The correspondence language is English.

3. The Association is divided into sections; in 2001, English, Spanish, French, German and Italian were established. New sections will be erected later in 2002/2003.

4. The members are electing the committee every 10 years. The committee now comprises the President and General Secretary.

5. The members are invited from WWA to meet for an association meeting every 5 years.

6. The Association awards “The European Literature Award” once a year for different genres.

7. The Association is also representing a number of international writing associations.

8. The Association resides in London.

7. The Association supports new authors along with study sponsership.
